To investigate the beauty and mystery of the landscape's presence I experiment with both traditional and digital media.

 

My work begins with a drawing in either graphite, charcoal or ink - then paintings of tusche and/or oil pastels are digitally layered with the drawing.

 

Digital painting adds color. The digital image is printed on archival fine art paper with archival inks.

Lastly, in my mixed media work, encaustic is applied to create physical texture and contrast.
